2017 Concordia Annual Summit in New York

Professor Jennifer Bond was a panel moderator for the opening plenary at the Concordia Annual Summit, “Mobilizing the Private Sector in Support of Refugees & Migrants”, before an audience of global private sector, political, philanthropic, academic, and non-governmental leaders. She also was a panel moderator at the Global Mayors Summit “City Innovations for Fostering Welcoming Communities”. The session considered the contributions cities can make to the global refugee crisis as innovators in fostering welcoming communities, and keynote remarks were delivered by the Mayor of New York Bill de Blasio.
