PKI Expert Seminar: National Security Law

The Philippe Kirsch Institute held its first Expert Seminar of the year on 16 May 2016 at the Borden Ladner Gervais offices in Ottawa. The session on National Security was co-chaired by John Norris and François Dadour, both of whom are Special Advocates for Security Certificate proceedings. The seminar included insightful and lively discussions about disruption warrants, recognizances to prevent terrorist activity, and the new privilege claims. We would like to thank our Kirsch Fellow, Sam Walker, for spearheading the organisation of the panel, John and François for their valuable contributions to the event, and BLG Ottawa for their generous support.
